members as they note a sense a presence of God in their lives
(strategic planning objective) “Story-cards” are available on the table in
the narthex for you to fill out and return to the designated box, also in the
narthex. One or two will be read per week during worship, with all of cards
posted on a specially designated bulletin board in the narthex. Please share
your stories (and read stories of others) so that we all may be informed and inspired by the glimpses of God we experience as people of faith throughout each week.
NBC Circle of Prayer
Come join the prayer circle
9-9:30am Wed. mornings in the NBC Parlor. We are a small group who pray for those on the prayer chain and provide any updates from contacts we may have made. We also spend a few minutes
sharing something to stimulate our own spiritual growth and, when desired, we pray for one another.
Prayer is very powerful and it also fills our lives with hope as we encounter the difficulties of each day. All are welcome. No one needs to pray out loud or share a concern unless they are so led at the time.

NBC Day Nursery School News!
National Soup Month was celebrated during the month of January. Our focus was healthy eating and good tasting, nutritious foods. The biggest project was “Stone Soup and Birdseed Bread”. There was a vegetable sign up chart on the bulletin board and the children selected which item he/she would like to bring to contribute to the recipe. The soup was wonderful and healthy!!! On January 27, we served our families and friends this fabulous meal of soup and birdseed bread.
Miss Vera, Miss Tina and Miss Tiffany would like to thank church members, parents and caregivers, family and friends who continually encourage us in the Nursery School program.
