At Noank
Baptist Church we seek to embody the beloved community of Christ through
experiences of meaningful worship, inspiring music, challenging educational
opportunities, gracious care-giving, good fellowship and effective outreach
to those in need.
We are called to an individual and collective quality of life that leads to
personal, spiritual and transformation as witnesses to God's saving purpose
for all creation.
Striving to follow the ways of Jesus in loving service to our neighbors, we
wrestle with living justly and peaceably in the world. Through God's love
and grace, we welcome all to join us in our journey of faith. This welcoming
spirit leads us to embrace the world's diversity as fully as it can,
inclusive of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious or
denominational background, economic means, or any other common distinction.
Core Values
We are also committed to the Baptist
core values of soul liberty, non-dogmatic spirituality, separation of church
and state, and congregational self‑determination. These values direct our church life and
decision making within a community of loving support.
