Regular Services

Fall, Winter and Spring regular services begin on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. You are able to view sermons from this and past weeks.

Summer offers two services on Sunday mornings. A special, less formal "layperson led" discussion group is at 8:00 am. Our regular service, led by our Minister, is at 10:00 am.

Special Services

We hold additional services during special seasons of the year. Check the newsletter for specific times.

Lent includes services for Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter.

Christmas Eve includes two services plus a manger reenactment.

Commemorative holidays may also be honored with a service.

Sunday Adult Classes

Adult Church School Classes classes follow our regular Sunday Service.

Sunday Child Care

Childcare is available half hour prior to the start of our regular church service

Sunday Church School

Church School classes for young people through Grade 12 are held during the regular worship hour on Sundays from September to mid-June. Students are invited to learn about the Bible and apply its teachings in their lives. Our teaching volunteers include many professional educators whose skills make it possible for us to welcome and accommodate children with special needs. z

Midweek Classes

A Midweek Bible Study group meets at the Mystic River Congregate (205 Elm Street in Noank) at 10am on Wednesday mornings.

Evening classes based on season, such as Easter, Christmas etc.

Classes Based on Demand

Ongoing, periodic Discipleship & Membership classes are offered seasonally.

Book Discussion Group

The Noank Baptist Church Book Group meets approximately every other month to discuss books of interest, usually popular novels with some religious, spiritual, or ethical content. Books we have studied include The Da Vinci Code, Walking the Bible, The Kite Runner and Under God. Contact John Goetsch at "Contact Us" listed above.

Extra, Extra!

Guest speakers, service opportunities, concerts, day trips, special classes and special holiday activities also are organized throughout the year.
